Erica is mostly known for her work as a freelance journalist, working for several high-quality newspapers including the Metro UK. She was one of the first to openly write about living with a mental illness for the Independent in 2010.

As a keen artist, she’s studied fine art, textiles and design at Chelsea College of Art and Staffordshire University as well as learning fashion design, pattern-cutting and illustration at degree level with Middlesex University.

She has a history of paranoid schizophrenia, and lives and works in the Staffordshire countryside.

WARNING: On The 888 Collective we feature work about mental health issues and this may occasionally include images that contain sensitive or triggering content.
